It is called the Monsanto Natural Park and it is one of the largest urban parks in the whole world. The population of Lisbon is 2,665.000 and with the outlying area known as Lisboa e Vale do Tejo brings the total to 3,500.000. This makes up about one third of the population of the whole country of Portugal. Lisbon is truly a beautiful city It’s why so many of people call it there home and would never leave. They are very proud of there city and after you visit Lisbon you will understand why.

Lisbon Hotel and Travel InformationThe City of Lisbon was built on seven hills. That makes for some difficult driving in some places throughout the land. Some of the city streets are too steep for a vehicle to drive up them, so the city has three Funicular services and one elevator to get to the top.
